Public signing forms

A stranger fills in a form and an agreement exists. You never typed their details.

Most signature workflows start with somebody on your side retyping information a customer already gave you — a name, an address, a start date — into a document, then sending it out. That step is where the errors come from and where the hours go.

A public form removes it. You publish a template as a link. Somebody outside your company opens it, answers the questions, and an agreement exists with their answers already in it, routed to whoever has to act.

It is a view onto a template, never a second place questions live

This matters more than it sounds. If a form kept its own copy of the questions, the form and the template would drift, and the drift would be invisible until a customer signed the wrong version. A form shows the template's questions. There is one definition.

It is the one place a stranger spends your money

So it is built with that in mind:

• The cost is checked before anything exists. A submission that would exceed your spending limit is refused at the door rather than halfway through
• Every answer is validated before an envelope is created, including the address — parsed properly, not by looking for an @
• A closed form says the same sentence as a link nobody published. A stranger is never told whose limit they hit or what your business is doing
• The count is incremented inside the transaction. Ten people arriving at once on a form with three submissions left get three, not ten — we tested exactly that

And you are told when it stops working

A link that turns people away while its own page says Open is the failure that costs you deals silently. If a form starts refusing for a reason nobody chose — a spending limit, a missing add-on, a field that no longer fits its page, a deleted template — it is written on the form, shown on your dashboard and emailed to you.

Reasons you *did* choose are not raised, because warning people about their own decisions is how a page of alerts becomes a page nobody reads.

What is built today

Public forms, templates, routing to an internal approver and then a counterparty, and a one-time passcode per recipient. Conditional routing is one comparison or one flat group — deeper branching is Pactlyra Flow, which is in build.
