Embedded e-signature API
Your customers sign inside your application, on your domain, without an account and without meeting us.
If you build vertical software — construction, property management, staffing, lending, healthcare administration — your customers already sign things inside your product. Most platforms reach for a per-envelope reseller deal and get a signing experience that visibly belongs to somebody else.
Pactlyra is built the other way round. Every execution primitive is an API call, and the web console is one client of that API rather than the product itself. If a workflow can only be completed by hand in a web interface, the platform is not finished — that is the test we hold ourselves to.
What you integrate
- Documents, envelopes, recipients, fields, templates, forms, webhooks and usage — each a REST resource
- A sandbox that is a workspace, not a mode. Nothing it sends is delivered and nothing it does is billed, but it behaves identically in every other respect. A sandbox that behaved differently would teach your team an integration that does not work
- Idempotency keys on anything that spends money, so a retried request is one envelope and one charge
- Signed webhooks carrying identifiers, status and hashes — never document content, field values or links, because they land in systems we cannot see
- Embedded signing and embedded preparation, so both the sender placing fields and the recipient signing stay inside your application
Framing is a declaration, not a guess
A signing page is framed by nobody unless its workspace has named the exact origins — https, no wildcards. A query parameter is not a declaration and a Referer header is not a decision. You set your origins once; anything else is refused.
What your customers' counterparties experience
No account, no app, no download. A signing link, a one-time passcode where you want that assurance, and a page that works with JavaScript switched off on a five-year-old phone. We test it that way on purpose, at 390 pixels with scripting disabled.
What this does not do yet
Pactlyra PDF — editing, converting, merging, OCR — is in build. So is Flow, beyond a single approver step with one-condition routing. If your integration needs document manipulation before signature, that part is not here today.
