Credits, if you would rather not subscribe
A credit is one unit of execution — one envelope sent, one workflow run, one form submission. Advanced identity verification is five. Buy them outright, with no plan and no monthly commitment.

Credits do not expire for 24 months. Going over an included allowance on a paid plan is billed at $0.49 a credit — the same as the smallest pack, so buying ahead is worth doing and going over is never a penalty.
What we do not charge for
- Anything that runs on your device. Editing, merging, filling, redacting and signing for your own records are free, and stay free. The boundary is where the work physically happens, not which features we felt like withholding.
- People who only sign. Recipients never need an account.
- Proving what was signed. Evidence packages, certificates of completion and verification are free on every plan including the free one. Charging somebody to prove a document they already hold would undercut the entire point.
Questions
Do I pay for people who only sign?
No. A signer never needs an account, a password or a seat — they open a link and sign. Seats are for the people who prepare and administer documents, and nothing else.
What happens when I use up my included credits?
On a paid plan, nothing stops. The extra is added to your next invoice at the credit-pack rate. There is no cap on sending and no penalty rate, because a wall at a hundred envelopes is the thing we built this against.
Is there a minimum number of seats?
No. One seat is a real plan. A solo operator being made to buy a second seat is a tax on being small.
Do credits expire?
Not for 24 months. Credits expiring quickly turns a usage model into a meter running, which is the thing a usage model is supposed to avoid.
Can I set a hard limit on what we spend?
Yes, and it is genuinely hard. Set a monthly cap and sending stops at it, whatever else is on the account. Zero is a valid answer.
What do I keep if I stop paying?
Everything you have already executed. Your documents, your audit trails, your certificates and your evidence packages stay downloadable and verifiable — evidence is never behind a plan. What stops is sending new agreements.
