Evidence package

Everything needed to check a completed agreement, in one folder, without the vendor.

An evidence package is the exportable bundle for a completed agreement. It should contain the executed document, the certificate of completion as machine-readable data rather than only a rendered page, the full audit trail, and a manifest listing every file with its hash.

The test of a package is whether somebody with no account and no network connection can check it. That means it should also carry a verifier — a small program that recomputes the document hash, the certificate seal and the event chain.

If checking the package requires reimplementing the vendor's hashing scheme from a specification, it is not portable. And a verifier written separately from the code that produced the seal will eventually disagree with it; the only kind that cannot drift is one assembled from the platform's own hashing and chain modules.
