On sending past the allowance, DocuSign's page says: envelopes past the plan allowance are billed pay-as-you-go at a per-envelope rate. On a paid Pactlyra plan, sending continues and each extra send is $0.49, the same rate as the smallest credit pack.
What Pactlyra does today
- Signing without accounts. Signers open a private link and sign on any device. They never need an account or a seat.
- Routing. Signers can sign in a set order. On Business, a recipient can be included only when an earlier answer meets a condition.
- Signer verification. A one-time passcode per recipient, recorded in the evidence.
- Evidence you can check yourself. Every completed document has a certificate of completion, a hash-chained event history and an evidence package that carries its own verifier, so it can be checked offline without Pactlyra.
- Templates on Team, and public signing forms, an API with a sandbox, signed webhooks, embedded signing and export to your own storage on Business.
- Evidence is never behind a plan. If you stop paying, completed documents and their evidence stay downloadable and verifiable.
When Pactlyra is not the right choice
Pactlyra places fields by page and position rather than by dragging them onto a preview. It does not provide an EU qualified electronic signature, notarisation, or single sign-on today, and it has no prebuilt connectors to other apps yet — integration is through its API, webhooks and storage export. If you need any of those now, Pactlyra is not the right fit yet. Check the documents you cannot sign electronically before you move a document type to e-signature.

Do the people I send to need a Pactlyra account?
No. Each signer gets a private link by email and signs on any device without an account.
Are signatures made with Pactlyra legally binding?
In the US, the ESIGN Act says a signature or contract cannot be denied legal effect solely because it is electronic (15 U.S.C. §7001), with exceptions listed in §7003.
